If the partition is the system partition or the boot partition, the Convert command won t be able to take control of the partition to convert it Instead, you will be prompted to schedule the conversion to happen on the next reboot Convert creates an entry in the Registry that causes the system to convert the drive to NTFS on the next reboot The hive that is modified is
